Audio Recording (other)-

-you reading a book or poem you want recorded

-class project narration

-presentation to be put on CD

-background music for a performance

-cd for your car

-anything that makes noise..use your imagination!!

 

Mastering-

Audio mastering of computer audio files(mp3's, wav files)

Mastering is very time consuming...if you aren't familiar with what it is ..read here.

Basically it makes all of your songs the same volume, and gives them the same tonal qualities, punch, and "sound"...and most importantly makes sure it has the right amount of bass, midrange, and high frequencies, and isn't distorted.

-popular output formats available are MP3's(24 bit, 96kHz), WAV files (24 bit, 96kHz), or CD audio(16 bit 44.1kHz)

 

SONAR lessons / Mastering

I will teach you how to setup your own recording studio in your house or apartment and show you how to use the equipment and computer programs.

 

Instrumental lessons-

I have played trumpet for 25 years and can teach the beginning/intermediate student anything from concert to jazz.

I have played guitar for 17 years and can teach beginning and intermediate guitarists most songs, methods, or techniques.

I can navigate my way around the drumset fairly well and can teach beginner drum lessons.

Beginning vocal, bass, and keyboard lessons also available during sessions.

 

Bottom line:

-Do you have many songs you'd like to record for web or CD?

-Ideal for beginning/intermediate solo artists wanting to sing, compose, or play alone and produce pro quality MP3s and CD’s of their material.

 

-The small space is not ideal for large bands, but groups of up to 4 people can be accommodated.

 

-No musical training required.  As well as engineering the session I can play all instruments necessary if you can describe what you want.

 

- Ages 10-100 welcome. I have experience working with kids as I used to be a 4th-8th grade teacher...if you are less than 10 years old and think you have exceptional talent only then I will consider going underneath my age limit..after all I want this to be about music, not babysitting.
